Nokia 1 Review | A Budget smartphone

Sameer khanna     April 17, 2018     budget smartphone, Nokia, Nokia 1, Nokia 1 Review, smartphone     No comments

The compact design of the Nokia 1 comes across as a breath of fresh air in today's smartphone world which is dominated by oversized models with large screens. There are thick borders above and below the display, and a white plastic rim around the front that gives the phone a funky look.

The Nokia 1 is a smartphone designed specifically to run on the Android Oreo Go platform. Android Go is Google's second attempt at building a stripped-down version of Android specifically for budget smartphones with underpowered processors, minimal amounts of storage, and 1GB or less RAM.

Nokia 1 runs Android 8.0 Oreo. The smartphone has a 4.5-inch HD IPS display. It has a 5MP rear camera with an LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. The device is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor and 1GB RAM. It has 8GB internal storage which can further be expanded up to 128GB . Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port. The device is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 2,150mAh battery.

Nokia has given this device some of its own customisations. Glance Screen displays notifications and alerts you to unread messages and calls on the lockscreen. This is a nice value addition and is rarely, if ever, seen on phones in this price range.

My Opinion

This phone is running on android orio with Android Go feature but that not means this gonna provides you smooth performance.
This smartphone may lags on normal heavy usage and you also not able to install to much stuff on this phone. You can go for this phone if you are lite user of android or you can use it for simple calling phone or whatsapp.
